Mouse Whole Body Plethysmography System
The system is a proven way to study pulmonary function and to evaluate bronchoconstriction on unrestrained conscious animals. The mouse is neither stressed, nor influenced by anesthesia and is able to move freely. The system measures respiratory rate and duration, indications of breathing depth, as well as volume and quantification of bronchoconstriction degree (penH).
Mouse whole body plethysmography system rates apply to all trained, eligible users. This is a fee-for-service core facility open to researchers in the Department of VetMed.
