Research Fellowship Opportunity

For the advancement of the application of biotechnology and molecular biology to veterinary medical research

The University of Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine is pleased to present a research fellowship opportunity!

 

The Basil and Ann Hatziolos Scholarship Fund for Veterinary Medical Research was founded in 1995 with the intent to provide a research fellowship opportunity to students interested in the research of pathology and microbiology of disease in animals with special emphasis on the application of biotechnology and molecular biology pertaining to the pathogenesis of disease in animals and fish.

Per the Fund Originator’s request, preference will be given to students of Greek or recent Greek origin.  Should a suitable candidate of Greek origin not be found, the award will be offered to a student with appropriate research interests involving the advancement of the application of biotechnology and molecular biology pertaining to the pathogenesis of disease in animals and fish.
