In the summer of 2023, several of the Vet Med Staff completed an intense Diversity, Equality, Inclusion, and Respect (DEIR) training. They tackled critical topics including identifying implicit biases and stereotypes, learning how to navigate intersectional identities in the workplace, and identifying tools and strategies for collaborative problem-solving, amongst several other important DEIR lessons.
