As part of the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine (VMCVM), the Veterinary Medical Sciences (VMSC) Graduate Program offers both Master of Science (M.S.) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degrees in the academic fields of veterinary medical, biomedical, and comparative medical sciences.
The VMSC Graduate Program is an integral part of the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine, and the University of Maryland Graduate School. It is designed to prepare graduate students to be scholars and researchers who will benefit society by advancing veterinary and biomedical knowledge.
